Sandy Shaw nominated as the Ontario NDP candidate in Hamilton West – Ancaster – Dundas

HAMILTON – New Democrats in Hamilton West – Ancaster – Dundas came together on Saturday to nominate Sandy Shaw as the candidate for the next provincial election.

“I am honoured to represent the people of Hamilton West – Ancaster – Dundas,” said Shaw. “Representing our community at Queen’s Park is a privilege and I am grateful for the trust that the people have put in me. After 6 years of Doug Ford, life has become harder for the people of Ontario. It’s time for a government and leadership that our community can count on. With Marit Stiles and the Ontario NDP, I know that we will have a government that focuses on the basics: health care we can rely on, building affordable homes, fixing our schools, protecting our environment, and making life more affordable.”

“Sandy has been a relentless fighter for the people of Hamilton West – Ancaster – Dundas,” said Marit Stiles, Ontario NDP leader. “When it comes to holding the Ford government to account for their schemes and scandals, I know that the people of her community can count on Sandy. From fighting for better health care to affordable homes to protecting our environment, Sandy’s leadership at Queen’s Park has been exemplary. I am proud to have Sandy on our team. Together, I know that we can deliver the future that our province deserves.”
